We are not going to lie: used SUVs fly off the lot. They are the most-searched cars in Spain and the good ones sell fast. If you see something you like, do not overthink it.

Why does everyone want an SUV?

You sit higher, see the road better, and feel safer. That is what people notice from day one. But there is more: the boot is huge compared to a normal saloon, and if you have kids in car seats, getting in and out stops being a workout.

One tip though: not all SUVs are equal. There are compact ones like the Seat Arona that use about as much fuel as a small car, and then you have the big ones like the Hyundai Tucson which are another league. Think about what you will use the car for before falling for the first one you see.

Buy with warranty, no surprises

All these cars are sold by professional dealers who include a minimum 12-month warranty. If something breaks, you have someone to claim against. A private seller on a classifieds site cannot offer that.
